On June 23, 1948 Joe Louis KO'd Jersey Joe Walcott in round eleven of their Championship bout at the Yankee Stadium. It was Louis' 25th defense of his Heavyweight crown and last fight before his initial retirement from the ring. Walcott had earlier dropped Louis in the third round and was ahead on two of the three scorecards when the fight was stopped. This is an official program from the fight. In G-VG condition. There's a piece of tape at the bottom of the spine. Light corner creases and a small area of surface paper loss to the back cover (at the top of the spine). Clean interior pages. The program is unscored.
