A scarce antique Stevengraph of the great boxer John L Sullivan. Stevengraphs were the manufactured by Thomas Stevens of Coventry, England. The process created images woven in pure silk during the latter part of the nineteenth century. This particular series was made in 1888. The mount has been trimmed slightly to a total size is 4.5" x 6". In very good condition with some age spotting/discoloration to the mount.
