A highly prized on-site poster from Madison Square Garden where Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier met in 'The Fight of the Century'. Smokin Joe prevailed in a tough fifteen round battle; the pairs rivalry would culminate in the epic Thrilla in Manila four years later. This scarce on-site poster is paper format and measures 22 x 28". The poster has had several tears professionally repaired from behind and a small section of paper (just below Ali's right glove, and running slightly into his shorts) restored. Edge wear and wrinkles throughout. Housed in a lightweight, modern looking frame behind plexiglass.
