A rare official on-site fight program from Cassius Clay's 15th professional fight versus Alejandro Lavorante. The bout took place at the Los Angeles Sports Arena on July 20, 1962. The six-page program has a full-color illustrated cover featuring both contestants. Clay was ranked 10th in the world going into the fight, weighing 199 pounds and scored his 15th straight professional victory by knocking out Lavorante in the fifth round. The condition is fair to good. The program has a center fold and handling creases. The bottom of the back page has a small section cut out - this is commonly seen on the few of these programs that have shown up. That part of the penultimate page was a ticket for entry into a raffle at the fight. One small water stain towards the bottom of the program that runs through all pages. There is also wear to the top corners, including a small piece missing from the top of the back cover. Conditional imperfections must surely be overlooked, owing to the immense rarity of the program.
