This is a typed letter from Muhammad Ali to a fan that has been hand signed by the champ at the conclusion. The letter was sent by Ali in response to one he'd received from a Miss Godward. Signed in black ballpoint - slight fading to the ink but still perfectly legible. Although undated, we believe from the style of autograph that it's mid to late 1970's - the content of the letter also reveals that Ali was preparing for an upcoming fight, so it's definitely pre-retirement. The letter measures approximately 8" by 10". The edges have been slightly trimmed and there's a 1/2 cm tear to the edge of one of the fold lines. Otherwise VG-EX.
