A scarce super-sized poster of Muhammad Ali, circa 1970's. These posters were often used in boxing gyms and due to their huge size, very few survived. The one's that did tend to be in poor condition. This particular specimen weighs in at a whopping 55" x 79" and has been linen backed for conservation purposes. The poster features a fantastic life-size image of Ali in boxing pose and has the printed text "Float like a Butterfly ... Sting like a Bee". It's in excellent shape for it's age and size. The poster has undergone some minor restoration, consisting of a few spots of infill. This is confined to the corners and edges. This is undoubtedly one of the finest surviving examples of this impressive poster.
