This is a commemorative tray - circa 1921 - issued in France for the Jack Dempsey v Georges Carpentier heavyweight title fight. The silver tray features a bronze plaque in the middle. The plaque pictures Light Heavyweight Champion Carpentier and in French reads "Boxing World Championship, Georges Carpentier, Jersey City 2 July 1921". Approximate dimensions are 4.5" x 3". In very good condition. Someone appears to have scratched a message in French on the base of the tray.
