1963 Cassius Clay v Doug Jones on-site program & insert

On March 13, 1963 Cassius Clay met Doug Jones at Madison Square Garden, New York. The fight proved to be one of the toughest of young Clay's career, with the future Heavyweight Champion battling to a ten round unanimous decision. Clay was hurt several times during the fight and at the final bell, the two ringside judges had it to Clay by just one round.
Offered here is an official on-site program from Madison Square Garden. It is complete with the scarce insert that has details of the Clay-Jones fight. The program is in excellent general condition. There are a couple of spots of soiling to the cover and a half inch split at the bottom of the spine. The insert is about G-VG. It has three horizontal fold lines, edge wear and has been scored in pen.
