This is a left hand Cleto Reyes glove signed in black marker by former Muhammad Ali opponent Karl Mildenberger. The German fought Ali for the World Heavyweight Title in September 1966. He frustrated the champ for most of the fight from his southpaw stance, but ultimately lost by TKO when the referee stopped the fight in the twelfth round following a flurry of punches by Ali. Mildenberger was the European Heavyweight Champion from 1964 to 1968, retaining the title 6 times. The glove and signature are in excellent condition.
