On July 4, 1932 Young Stribling met Australian Ambrose Palmer in an International Heavyweight contest at the National Sporting Club of Australia in Sydney. Stribling won via TKO. Offered here is a group of original memorabilia from the fight. Included is an on-site program that has been bound in soft back, brown suede covers with gilt lettering. The front cover has come away from the suede (see photo #3) but the back cover is still fully attached. The program has been signed on the scorecard by Ambrose Palmer. There are also two vintage photographic promotional cards (one of each fighter), two original photos from the fight, one original portrait photo of Ambrose, what appears to be one later image from the fight and two cut-out color promo cards of the combatants. The general condition is good-very good, in some cases better.
