A vintage poster advertising closed circuit telecasts of 'The Rumble in the Jungle'. Muhammad Ali met Heavyweight Champion George Foreman in Kinshasa, Zaire in October 1974. The fight was originally planned for September 24th but was rescheduled for the 29th October (US time) after Foreman suffered a cut in training. Ali shocked the world, knocking out the formidable Foreman in the 8th round after absorbing some punishment in the early rounds. The poster is thin card stock and measures 23" x 38". In excellent shape for its age with a few tack holes to the edges and light age toning. Minor tape residue to lower corners. Beautiful design by artist LeRoy Neiman.
