1976 Muhammad Ali v Antonio Inoki on-site poster
Scarce on-site poster from the Nipon Budokan Arena in Tokyo, Japan where Muhammad Ali fought Japanese professional wrestler Antonio Inoki. The mixed martial arts contest went the fifteen round distance and was scored a draw. Inoki had been three points up but was docked all three for fouls. The result meant no one had to lose face; Inoki could claim he would have won had it not been for the penalties, whereas Ali could defend himself by saying his opponent had cheated. This attractive on-site poster measures approximately 20" x 28". The condition is G-VG with edge and corner wear, including a few small tears - see photos provided.
