Rare on-site program from Olympia, London, where Frenchman Georges Carpentier met Ted Kid Lewis for the World Light Heavyweight Championship. Lewis - the former Welterweight World Champion - was fighting at 150 pounds to Carpentier’s 175. He spent most of the first round beating on his heavier opponent. Then when referee Joe Palmer put a hand on Lewis’s shoulder to warn him against holding, Carpentier KO'd Lewis with a sneaky right hand on the break. The Olympia crowd erupted furiously, crying "foul", but to no avail as Lewis was counted out. The program is in G-VG condition. There's a heavy corner crease top right. Rusting to the staples, dog eared corners and some foxing to the pages. The bottom of the spine is split up to the lower staple (about 1 1/2").
