Presented for sale here is the right hand 10oz Everlast glove that Tyson wore in the Etienne fight. The is the very glove that knocked Etienne out in round one. It originates from the collection of Phil Hannah who worked for Fight Night Inc. - one of the promoters of the Etienne fight - for over twenty years. Phil and his brother Molly were well known in the fight game around Detroit. Molly was Thomas Hearn's private driver for many years. Phil worked on several Tyson fights and with many Kronk fighters including Thomas Hearns. The glove comes with a signed letter of authenticity from Phil explaining how it came to be in his possession (he was responsible for collecting the gloves after the fights). The glove shows the expected signs of use. "MT #1" is written in blue pen on the Everlast wrist label. These are the markings made prior the fight, when the gloves for the contest are chosen. We have included a couple of photos of the fight, to which the glove matches perfectly. This a rare opportunity to own a piece of history from the remarkable career of Mike Tyson.
